According to the text Binary Opposition is something between production and comsumption. So I choose a picture of babies. Having children to some people seem to be a good thing. The women seek off to find mates such as strong masculine fathers that wants to be a loving and caring father. Then males produce something they can't consume for the women. The woman then consumes and reproduce. One thing that had me stuck in the text was, consumption was associated with a feminine weakness. I really didnt under stand that.
When it comes to Binary Opposition I get that it is somewhat of a relationship between prodution and consumption. But the differences between the two. Binary which is two and Oppostion which is the difference. I don't see the relationship between Binary Oppositon and babies? I get that they are both good and bad to a degree but, the relationship is kind of a strech.
ReplyDeleteA man cannot consume for a woman? To place men or any man for that matter under said microscope isnt fair one bit. BOTH of the parties involved in the baby making process are responsible. Just as many woman should not be having babies, as well as men who should not be making babies.
