Blog on Chapter 3
Ok so I don't know what this activity is talking about, but I'll give it a shot. Considering the fact I don't watch The Daily Show, The Colbert Report or any news for that matter, this is going to be tough. These shows are more likely to be similar but with different host. The same viewers that tunes in for one show, probably will watch the other one if the shows was indeed similar.Young people such as myself would watch the shows if they were interested into doing so. I think the values that are trying to told are: Be aware whats going on around the world, convincing people to go green to save planet earth and so fourth.

When it comes to shows that are news related I tend to watch the ones that are straight forward. The ones that are surrounded around humor, I think are a waste of time. None the less I also agree that no matter what the formate of a show is as long as it is informational then it is doing its job.
ReplyDeleteUse Hulu or youtube and watch the shows (this was supposed to be an aspect of the assignment if the student wasn't familiar with the programs).
ReplyDeleteWhen i try to watch like hosted shows i try to find the show that i think is the least bias and not as gossip based or bias by the host. So overall i would choose the Daily Show. Because it is both entertaining and informative.
